Mentors can change the trajectory of one’s life. With a successful mentorship, we feel encouraged, motivated, and believed in to become all we were made to be.
Mentors help to facilitate and direct. Mentors are a sounding board in times of trouble. If we are unsure or struggling, mentors can give us viewpoints and perspectives based on their past.
Mentors are entirely essential to our growth and surpassing expectations for our life. Mentors give us hope and can increase the likelihood of living in the fullness of all that can be taken in and accomplished.

1. What personal information do I have to share?
InstantMentor requires the following information to be shared:
- First and last name
- Phone
- Interests/hobbies
- Prior work experience
- What area you desired to be mentored in (life stage, spirituality, career path, etc.)
- Description about you on your profile page
2. Is my personal information shared securely?
All personal information is kept safe and secure on the InstantMentor app.
Personal information that is shared is the normal information used for making profiles on other social media platforms (name, email, DOB, gender, and interests).
Since this is a mentorship platform, other areas that will be shared will be prior work experience, degrees, and awards.
All meetings done with your mentor are private and can only be viewed between you and your mentor.
3. Do I have to meet my mentor in person?
You are not required to meet your mentor in person.
InstantMentor provides a video call capability within the app. All meetings are planned to be within the app. If the two of you desire to meet in person at some point along your mentorship journey, you are free to do so. However, InstantMentor was designed to have all modes of communication available within the InstantMentor app to make the process convenient for you.
4. What if I don’t like my mentor/mentee?
If there is a problem with your mentor/mentee, you are permitted to connect with someone else.
InstantMentor does the heavy lifting up front to connect you with the best possible mentor (based upon prior data you filled out about you and your profile).
If there is not a good fit, that mentor/mentee relationship does not have to be continued and can be canceled. When this occurs, InstantMentor will work diligently to connect you with the best matching alternative.
5. What if life gets in the way and I don’t have time to prepare for my meetings?
We understand that life is extremely busy and it can be tough to prepare for meetings.
InstantMentor guides you throughout your mentorship by providing recommended activities, booklets, and content to help prepare, guide, and facilitate discussions.
These materials for each discussion are focused on helping mentors and mentees get to know each other and provide growth simply & easily as well as helping ensure the meetings are as productive as possible.
